All associated Geological Surveys can participate in the General Assembly. The General Assembly Meetings can be Ordinary or Extraordinary. The Ordinary meetings are celebrated once per year and Extraordinary can be celebrated when necessary, at the request of the President of the Association, when agreed by the Board of Directors or when proposed by a tenth of the members.<\/p>\n

In the General Assembly celebrated on 2006 a major reform of the Statutes was approved.<\/p>\n

In that meeting, celebrated in the Spanish International Cooperation Agency for the Development of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, in Bolivia, under the name of: National Geological Survey: Public Institutions for the Sustainable Developement<\/em>, the Santa Cruz Declaration<\/em> was signed. This Document, valid in present Association, defines the rules and mission of the Association. <\/p>\n
